Al Khuwair Development & Services Company LLC (AKDS) an OMZEST Group Company, was incorporated in the year 1983. The Company was set up along with some leading business houses in the Sultanate of Oman. The Company had a humble beginning, with a building it purchased and rental from the same being the only source of income.
The surplus funds were invested in reputed companies listed on the Muscat Securities Market, thereby creating another source of income i.e. dividend.
Since 1992 and until 2006, AKDS was the resident sponsor M/s Essar Oil
India Ltd. which is a leading oil drilling contractor.
