Amiantit Oman was incorporated in 1974 by Royal Decree of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said. The company is now one of the largest manufacturing companies in the Sultanate of Oman with diverse product range. The Company is a joint venture of OMZEST and Bahwan Groups, the leading business groups of Sultanate of Oman. PVC DIVISION
Amiantit Oman was the first company in Sultanate of Oman to manufacture uPVC Pipes in 1975. The company manufactures pressure and non pressure pipes for applications in sewage, water, chemical, waste and also for ducting & as electrical conduits . The pipes are manufactured in size range from 20mm to 323mm at its fully automatic plant confirming to BS, DIN, OMAN and GULF standards.
HDPE DIVISION
Amiantit Oman was the first company to introduce HDPE pipes in Sultanate of Oman. The Company’s facility at Rusayl incorporates the most modern extrusion lines for the manufacture of HDPE pipes. The production plant has been set up under license from KWH Finland, a world leader in HDPE pipe manufacturing. Amiantit Oman HDPE pipes have been providing unmatched service across difficult terrains for diverse applications across Sultanate of Oman and GCC countries. In addition to pipes, Amiantit Oman HDPE division manufactures a wide range of fabricated products like tanks, manholes, house connection chambers, bends, collection pits and other custom products.
ROTO DIVISION
Amiantit Oman Rotomolding division was established in 1992. It is the first manufacturing unit in Sultanate of Oman in the field of Rotomolded polyethylene products. The entire plant is equipped with state-of-the-art and fully automatic American machines in which all the process parameters are PLC controlled.
This division has always been in the forefront of producing variety of innovative products. One such development is the Fort type water tank, which has become a symbolic identification of every house hold of Sultanate of Oman. Amiantit Oman has introduced several innovative products spanning the following categories of water storage tanks, environmental products, road safety products, rotolining, industrial products, inspection chambers and fish boxes.
GRP DIVISION
Established in 1976, Amiantit Oman GRP division is a recognized market leader in the design and manufacture of a wide ranging of GRP products like GRP tanks for sewage and water applications, modular building systems, domes, shades, marine boats, enclosures, logos etc.. In addition to custom tailored products, Amiantit develops and supplies a wide range of standard products as well.
GRC DIVISION
Established in 1976, Amiantit is Oman’s premier manufacturer of GRC products. Over the years the company has put GRC to a staggering variety of uses to reproduce several of architectural landmarks. The landmarks are testimony to Amiantit’s obsession with visual aesthetics and engineering perfection in the final product with timely completion of projects. The product profile includes columns, pedestals, trims, moldings, claddings and decorative screens.
CONCRETE DIVISION
Amiantit Oman Concrete Products LLC is setting up an integrated concrete pipe and engineered pre-cast concrete product manufacturing facility in collaboration with M/s Munro Limited. The products will find wide usage in storm water drainage systems, telecom networks, highway projects and waste water networks. The product range will include: reinforced concrete gravity and pressure pipes, box culverts, concrete barriers, manholes and chambers.
