Bahar Oman Metals (BOM) has been formed to set up and operate a High Carbon Ferrochrome Plant with a capacity of approximately 100,000 tonnes per annum integrated with an ore beneficiation and briquetting plant in Free Zone Sohar.
The project is under execution and commercial production is expected to start in the third quarter of 2013.
