Oman Textile Mills Company L.L.C. (OTM), an ISO 9001:2008 for Quality Management System & ISO 14001:2004 for Environmental Management Certified Company is situated at the Rusayl Industrial Estate complex on the outskirts of Muscat. It is a Public Limited Company, owned 100% by Omani Nationals. OTM today is a striking example of the Sultanate’s industrial success aided by private sector enterprises. The Company was established by early 1988 for the production of textile fabrics, primarily for the domestic market, but since then expanded its market to all of the GCC and MENA countries and now has entered into US and European markets with its designer range of products.
The Mill is well-equipped with the state-of-the-art production lines from Europe and Japan, with Shuttleless Projectile Looms in Weaving Department, Screen and Digital Printing, Dyeing and Finishing machines in Process House. About 7 Million meters capacity Process house is well equipped to dye and print all kind of blends, Cotton, Polyester, Silk, Poly-wools, Nylon. High Value embellishment equipments includes, Embroidery, Crystal embossing, Gold foiling, Flock printing etc.
A carefully planned and laid out machinery set up supported by auxiliary facilities such as a modern training center, worker’s facilities, water softening plant, waste and effluent treatment plants and a well-equipped testing laboratory. The Company has modern Management Information System with Baan ERP System implemented in all the sections of the factory.
The Mill has focused on the areas of quality control and design since its inception. Every care is exercised to ensure 100% quality control. Innovation and Product development is integral to the production activity and is supported by regular upgradation of the technology. A team of highly motivated and experienced fabric designers help keep the Mill abreast with the latest trends in designs and colours. The Mill is a fine example of Omani skill and ingenuity as a large number of the workforce comprises of Omanis, who have proven their merit beyond any doubt.
The company is conscious about the social responsibility for maintaining balance in natural forces and works continuously towards environmental protection and committed to EMS through suitable treatment of effluents, safe handling and storage of hazardous products, minimization of waste generation, and to promote recovery, safe disposal of waste. The company takes special efforts in Training and development of the local workforce to realize their potential to produce world class products. All workforce is trained in Health, Safety and Environment preparedness.

OTM has opened a showroom at its factory premises where the latest designs in printed voiles are introduced every week.
