MEZOON TRAVEL LLC. is a pioneer in the travel agency field in the Sultanate of Oman having been founded in 1972 as a division of the OMAR ZAWAWI (OMZEST) Group of Companies – one of the premier business and industrial groups in Oman.

Mezoon Travel  today are one of the largest travel agencies in the Sultanate of Oman, being a full service travel agency, while at the same time handling the General Sales Agency for 9 major carriers and travel related services companies. Its varied airline computer reservation systems, which include SABRE, GALILEO, AMADEUS, KRISCOM, GABRIEL and MARS, give its staff easy-accessibility for online confirmation of seats and other travel related services. Mezoon Travel also offers its clients comprehensive Travel Insurance schemes.

Mezoon Travel is the General Sales Agents for Lufthansa German Airlines, one of the most accepted airlines in the world and a member of the Star Alliance. Lufthansa provides 4 weekly services between Muscat and Frankfurt with onward connections to Europe, North and South America. With state-of-the-art Airbus 340/330, Lufthansa provides its passengers comfort and luxury while flying.

Jet Airways, the first Indian private airline to fly into Oman and India’s most preferred airline, which flies over 365 flights a day to 44 destinations within India and operates flights to Nepal, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Malaysia, United Kingdom, Thailand, Belgium, United States of America, Canada, Bangladesh, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman & Qatar, using one of the youngest and well maintained fleets.

Royal Jordanian is another principal, a member of Star Alliance, who provides 3 flights a week between Muscat and Amman, with onward connections to other Middle Eastern points, as well as to Europe and North America.

Singapore Airlines, although not operating from Muscat, connects from Dubai to Singapore with connections to all Far Eastern points, Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific, as well as to the west coast of USA.

Sri Lankan Airlines operates 3 weekly flights ex-Muscat to Colombo, with convenient connections to South Indian points, focusing also on Far Eastern and Australian points.

The Company also represents Egypt Air (that flies out of Muscat twice a week), Iran Air and Middle East Airlines, who provide connecting flights to Middle Eastern points out of Dubai. It is also the GSA for Mezoon Travel has also appointed GSA for Air Mauritius operating 4 flights a week from Dubai on a code-share basis with Emirates.

Our tourism division is the fastest growing segment of our company. Mezoon Travel provides services to travellers and agencies, which are interested in tailor-made itineraries and holiday packages throughout the world. The Department also handles hotel reservations and car rentals worldwide, linked through its networking stations, offering a choice of hotels, helping the traveller in making the right choice. Mezoon Destination Management, the inbound tours division, focuses on promoting Oman to Tour Operators, Travel Agents and consumers worldwide and will continue to be a pioneer and leader in tourism development for the Sultanate.

Cargo

Our Cargo division operates from an office at Muscat  International Airport and handles both import/export cargo mainly for GSA principals: Martinair Cargo, Egypt Air, Iran Air, Jet Airways, Lufthansa German Airlines, Middle East Airlines, Royal Jordanian, Singapore Airlines and Sri Lankan Airlines. Mezoon's Muscat branch as well as their Salalah branch, extensively, export fish to Italy, Greece, Japan and the USA.

In recent years, Mezoon has been awarded trophies for Outstanding Performance by Lufthansa German Airlines, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Gulf Air Cargo, Swiss International Airlines and Lufthansa Cargo and nearer home, Air India and Indian Airlines.

Besides the OMZEST Group of Companies, Mezoon Travel also caters to multi-nationals and large corporate houses such as Petroleum Development Oman, World Health Organization, Oman International Bank, Strabag Oman LLC, Dyckerhoff & Widmann & Partner, Snamprogetti, Tawoos Group of Companies, Central Bank of Oman, Oman Arab Bank, Bank Muscat and DynCorp to name a few.
