RCS achieved ISO 20000:2005 certification

7th August 2012, Muscat. Riyam Computer Services LLC is one of the first few private sector companies in oman to achieve ISO 20000:2005 certification. Published in Times of Oman & Oman Tribune.

Riyam Computer Services LLC, a leading IT application and solution provider company of the prestigious Omar Zawawi Establishment (OMZEST) Group, has become one of the first few private sector companies in Oman to achieve ISO 20000:2005 certification in Sultanate of Oman.

ISO 20000 is a globally renowned standard for IT Service Management. This independent certification validates organization’s commitment to quality-of-service standards.

This voluntary certification affirms that RCS has thoroughly documented and implemented an IT Service Support and Delivery processes that meet the stringent requirements for the global ISO 20000:2005 standards.  Ernst and Young assisted the company in the implementation of ISO 20000 processes. This was independently assessed and certified by TUV Rheinland, an accredited registrar that performs independent assessments against the requirements of national and international standards for IT Service Management.

On July 5, 2012, Riyam Computer Services LLC received formal registration approval and is now officially recognized as an ISO certified company. This certification covers IT Service management including Application Support, Infrastructure and Software development Services
