On 21st January 2003 a Joint Venture Company was formed between Rees Oil & Gas Services and BGP International a subsidiary of the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC)

The new company is named BGP Oil & Gas Services LLC. It carries out land seismic acquisitions and surveys for leading oil companies in Oman
