Riyam Investment & Trading Est. LLC was established in 1982 by Dr. Omar Zawawi with two major objectives in mind - to be part of industrialization and growth of the country and to bring to the people of the Sultanate of Oman well-known and good quality brands of Perfumes, Cosmetics, Toiletries and other personal care products at reasonable & affordable prices.

In line with these objectives Riyam has two operating division - Manufacturing and Trading/Agency Representation.

Manufacturing:

The factory to manufacture perfumes and personal care products was set up in 1987 in Muscat, Oman with new and state-of-the-art machinery & equipments. Commercial production of quality products soon commenced and with time the company has made significant investments in its facility for capacity enhancement and technology upgradation.

Riyam has been manufacturing and marketing its own brands of Eau de Parfums, Eau de Colognes, Eau de Toilettes, After-shave Lotions, Shampoos & Conditioners, Liquid Soaps, Roll-on Deodorants, Roll-on Perfumes, Deodorant Body Sprays, Air Fresheners, Refreshing Towels, Lens Wipes and so on.

The various umbrella brands of Riyam such as REEM, TOUCH, AL KUFF, PEARL are now established not only in the Sultanate of Oman but have also penetrated the entire Middle East and neighbouring countries. These brands are also exported to some African countries and new markets are being tapped in other parts of the world.

REEM Eau de Cologne is one of the most popular colognes in the market because of its distinctive packaging and impactful fragrances such as Musk, Rose, Jasmine, Bakhour, Raunak, Firdaus, Amber, Lemon and Natural. The REEM brands also include Roll-on Deodorants in alluring fragrances, Roll-on Perfumes with distinctive oriental scents and Air Fresheners with a special "dry" formula allowing them also to be used safely on fabric and furnishings.

TOUCH is a brand of Men's range of toiletries comprising of After-shave Lotion, Deodorant Body sprays and Roll-on Deodorants.

Shampoo+Conditioners and Liquid Soaps come under the PEARL brand. These products are specially formulated taking into consideration all types of hair and skin. Shampoos manufactured under PEARL brand are available both in premium as well as medium range.

AL KUFF is the brand which stands for a premium luxury liquid soap formulated with moisturizers. A variant with anti-bacterial properties is also available under the brand name MUTAHHIR AL KUFF. In the liquid soap range another product has been manufactured under the brand BAHJA for the institutional user segment.

In Eau de Parfums and Eau de Toilette, several fine fragrances have been launched under the brand names LAYYALI MUSCAT, FINALE, NOUVELLE, NEFERTITI, 'O' & GRACIAS. Two other brands MUSANDUM Musk for men and BAUSHER were also introduced in Eau de Colognes.

Riyam has also launched a range of Oriental Perfumes with olfactory compositions that blend Eastern mystique with Arabian fantasy. This series includes KAL AMBER, AL RABIE, WIDAD, TAMASHA, FARAH, JOHARA, JINAN & NADA Eau de Parfums in beautifully decorated bottles and specially decorated unit boxes. Concentrated oils in these fragrances have also been launched in very attractive packaging.

A new Oriental Perfume, MAGNATEES in 55 ml unit pack was successfully launched in December 2006 and has found immediate acceptance in the local & export market.

Refreshing Towels are manufactured on a sophisticated production line that is capable of producing various sizes of towels and sachets as required. These towels, impregnated with perfumes, are packed in sachets of triple layer laminate which helps the moistened towel retain its perfume and wetness. This range consists of brands like UM AL ZAMAYYIM, AL SHARAIGA, AL KHAIYRAT etc. A wet pipe in a sachet under the brand name CLEAR VISION is also manufactured which is used to cleanse lenses/glasses.

The products were first exported to the UAE market which then spread to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar Yemen & Maldives and all these markets have been regularly buying our products till date.. Exports to other countries in the Middle East, Asia and Africa soon followed. Negotiations are on for entering other markets in Asia and Africa.

Trading and Agency Representation:
